Welcome! This is a 4 part series from May 2020. If you are new to YouTube and wondering what kind of videos to post, use this as a framework.
1. Record a video from your phone or laptop. No need to edit, unless you really want to.
2. Upload the video to your YouTube channel as public or unlisted
➡️ Public - anyone can see your video, anyone can search for it
➡️ Unlisted - anyone with the link can view your video, cannot be searched
➡️ Private - no one but you can see this video
3. Give your video a title and a description with a call to action to learn more.
➡️ Be sure to use HTTP:// in any website links in the description
➡️ Pin a comment with your main call to action and link
4. Share the YouTube video URL in our facebook group with #yogavideochallenge
Day one video challenge is to create your introduction video. This can be as short as 2-3 minutes long. Use the equipment that you have, no editing skills required.

Today we're actually getting into teaching yoga. This can be as short as a 5 minute meditation or as long as a 60 minute class. My recommendation is to start shorter and continue gaining confidence as you practice making more videos. Video creation, just like yoga, is a practice. You don't get good at is at the very beginning. You have to get through the fumbles, the re-records, and the slip-ups.
➡️ INTRODUCTION Today I'm guiding you through [class name/style/duration/theme/etc]
You'll need [list equipment and props]
If we haven't met before, I'm Ashley from [website or company].

or... Make sure you subscribe, I upload new videos every [day of the week].
➡️ CONTENT Let's get started... [Teach class]
Namasté
Today, you're going to make a tips video. These tips need to directly relate to the yoga style that you teach or practice. This is an easy way to go deeper with your students beyond leading them through a great yoga asana practice. You can give them more! You should have a TON of potential content that you can create for this video prompt. You can break down almost any pose, any prop, anything related to yoga or otherwise. You can simply talk in front a camera, or you can set the camera down and demonstrate or show examples of what you are talking about. I recommend not exceeding 5 steps or tips. Three to five is a good number. Ten is way too many. This could also be a video of a list of the tops myths, misconceptions, or mistakes in your area of expertise. It's up to you. It's good to have an outline in front of you so you. Don't forget to smile and look directly at the camera!
➡️ INTRODUCTION Today I'm teaching you [insert number] tips for [topic].
If we haven't met before, I'm Ashley from [website or company].
➡️ CONTENT List all steps out in a quick overview.
Go through each tip or step in depth.
List the steps or tips one more time as a review.
➡️ CALL TO ACTION Thanks for watching!
